We’ve had numerous trainings on Islam from different groups and organizations over the years. The Lilias Trotter Center has been the most substantial and beneficial for our ministry—hands down. Our interactions and conversations with our Muslim friends have been enhanced. We have grown in understanding Islam, the Qur’an, the history of Islam, and Muslims.
In ministry, as in life, “you don’t know what you don’t know.” Every class we’ve taken with them, we are reminded of how much we don’t know—and, by the end of a class, we are extremely thankful that we persevered through to gain the important knowledge that we hadn’t known we needed.
The faculty of the Lilias Trotter Center are teaching from decades of experience of living with and working with Muslims from all over the Muslim world. We couldn’t recommend the Lilias Trotter Center any higher for getting equipped and resourced for global ministry to Muslims.
